II. Working Principle:
Through the design of bottom pulp inlet and heavy scum discharge, top scum discharge and light scum upflowing, LSS series upflow pressurized screens effectively solve the above problems. The light impurity and air in the pulp rise to the top naturally and discharge from the top while the heavy impurity will settle to the bottom and discharged once entering the machine. In this way, the stay time of impurity in the screening zone is effectively shortened, the possibility of impurity circulation is reduced and the screening efficiency is enhanced; on the other hand, the breakage caused by the heavy impurity to the rotor and drum is prevented while the service life of equipment is prolonged.
III. Structure and Features
1. Screen drum: the fine sizing screen slot width is H ≤0.15mm, which can be the imported drum. The surface employs hard chrome plating process to enhance the wear performance and the service life is more than 10 times of that of the domestic like products. The screen drums of the rest types adopt the best drums of domestic supporting manufacturers to ensure the equipment performance.
2. Rotary wing rotor: the fine sizing rotor is provided with 3 - 6 rotary wings and mounted on the main shaft. The special structure of the rotor can ensure the high screening efficiency of the equipment.
3. Mechanical seal: special type graphite material seal, falling into dynamic seal and static ring. The static ring is pressed to the dynamic seal through spring and water flushing of seal is available to prevent impurity access and allow compact structure, safe operation and long service life.
4. Housing: it consists of upper cover and cylinder. The cylinder lower is provided with tangential pulp inlet pipe, the upper center is provided pulp inlet pipe and the upper cover is equipped with scum discharge port and rinsing water port.
5. Driving device: it includes motor, pulley, V-belt, belt tensioner, main shaft and bearing etc.
IV. Features and advantages:
(I) Features:
1. Lower pulp inlet and upper outlet to avoid pipeline crossing.
2. The steady base adopts open design to facilitate maintenance and replacement of belt, pulley and locating bolt.
3. The high power driving and sealing devices can be mounted and removed as a whole to reduce the down time for maintenance.
4. The cleaning, adjustment, check and removal of screen drum and rotor are easy.
5. Support various screen drums, for example, the flat or wave screen drums.
6. The maximum operating pressure is designed to be 875kPa, which can meet various application conditions.
(II) Advantages
1. Low power consumption: the power consumption of fine sizing ≤5 - 8KWH/T and that of rough sizing≤ 5 KWH/T, which exceeds the internationally advanced level (10KWH/T)
2. The heavy impurity is discharged to the heavy impurity tank at the screen bottom to prevent the abrasion and breakage of rotor and screen drum and reduce the down time.
3. The light impurity and air are discharged from the tail pulp port at the top quickly.
4. High screening efficiency and short stay time of impurity in the pulp screening zone reduce the possibility of impurity circulation greatly.
5. The required pulp inlet pressure is low.
