The using Instruction of Hot Ink Roller

1. The Working Principle and Application of Hot Ink Roller
In the production of packaged food and medicine, we need to immediately print such marks as production date, batch number etc. on the surface of plastic film, paper and so on. The ordinary ink contains organic solvents, and because it is the flow of liquid, it is easy to get the bag dirty, in the meantime, the solvent evaporation will also cause pollution, thus it is not allowed to use now. On the contrary, if we use solid ink which melts when heated,then there will be no pollution any more. When people add this kind of ink into the wheel-shaped sponge carrier, then the easy-to-use hot ink roll was born.

Hot ink roller is made up of ink and sponge carrier, which need to be delt with special processes. The sponge carrier is processed and compressed by high density, and then after being poured into the ink ,it becomes the hot ink roller. 2.The technical indicators of hot ink roll
A.Printing Times (also called printing life)

It is the foremost indicator to measure whether the quality of ink roll is good or not, and the differences between the ordinary ink roll and imported one as well. The critical impact on the printing times is the ingredient of ink.

B.Using Temperature

The temperature (which is needed when solid ink is melting) is the key to impact the the printing times. If the temperature is very low, no matter how good the ink is, it can not melt and the ink in the sponge can not be completely released

C.Scratch Resistance

It indicates the changes which happened when there is a friction between the printing sample and other items. It is often measured by the friction times which can entirely remove the printing sample when exerting a certain pressure on the friction of common printing sample and white paper.

D.Adhesivity

It refers to the adhesive force of ink when it is printed on the film. We usually stick the stationery tape on the ink and then drawing it away to observe how many times can we totally stick off the ink.

4. The using Instruction of Hot Ink Roller

Firstly,put hot ink roll into preheater to preheat for about 5 minutes(if there isn't any preheater, you can preheat it on ink roll coding machine
Adjust the gap between the character mould and hot ink roll to its best position.

Model J	Put preheated ink roll into the warehouse of coding machine,adjust heating temperature to 90 , run the ink coding machine and then you can print legible production date,weight,batch number,etc. on plastic films.
	With the increasing of printing times, the ink in the ink roll is gradually reducing, there is no need to raise heating temperature if the printing effect is good; On the contrary, if the printing effect is relatively poor,you should gradually raise the heating temperature of ink roll(510 each time) up to 150 until using up the ink in it,based on the principle that the ink will not automatically drop during heating;
Model F	Put preheated hot ink roller into the warehouse of coding machine,adjust heating temperature to about 120 , run the ink coding machine and then you can print legible production date,weight,batch number,etc. on plastic films;
	With the increasing of printing times, the ink in the ink roller is gradually reducing, at this time, you should gradually raise the heating temperature of ink roll(510 each time) , and then it can print one quarter more than before.

Note: Due to the wide ranges of coding machine,you should adjust temperature in accordance with the actual printing effects,which is influenced by the temperature.
