I. Principle of Operation
The high-speed stock washer sends the stock to the slot between the polyester net and breast roll with the headbox. The breast roll drives the net and couch roll to rotate at high speed. The stock gets dehydrated and concentrated under the common effects of being squeezed by the net and breast roll and centrifugal force generated by high speed rotation. When it arrives at the couch roll together with the net, the stock is rinsed. It goes through replacement washing again under the effects of being squeezed by the net and breast roll and centrifugal force. Then the scraper scrapes the stock on the breast roll to the discharging screw. The waste water with high concentration squeezed out from the breast roll and the waste water with low concentration squeezed out from the couch roll are discharged from the device respectively to facilitate subsequent waste water treatment. During the course, because the stock layer between the net and roll is very thin, the ink particles, filing and other fine impurities in the stock get very little obstruction from the stock layer during the dehydration process. They are deemed to come out with the water easily.
II. Main Structure
The device is consisted of breast roll, couch roll, strainer, stock feeding system, stock discharging system, drainage system, washing system, net washing device, transmission system, machine frame, hood, etc. Among them, the breast roll is of rubber fluted roller which can effectively prevent the stock between the net and roll from spraying due to high speed rotation. The couch roll is of rubber flat roller which compensates the uneven squeeze on the stock caused by the fluted roller. The scraper strips the washed stock on the couch roll and takes it to the discharging screw. The strainer is of polyester net with guide bars at both sides to prevent the net from getting offline. The hood collects the discharged water content and separates the waste water with high and low concentrations as well as prevent the water from spraying around to affect the working environment.
III. Main Features
1. High Removal Efficiency of Impurities
Because the stock layer between the polyester net and roll is very thin, the stroke of impurities in the stock is very short and there is very little obstruction from the stock layer during the dehydration process. Moreover, the centrifugal force generated by high speed rotation enable the ink particles, filing and other fine impurities come out very easily. The removal rate of dust in the washed stock is more than 99%.
2. High Efficiency of Dehydration
The thin stock layer and high centrifugal force are not only beneficial for the fine impurities to come out, but also for water dehydration. The dehydration rate of washed stock is more than 90% with the lower concentration of feeding pulp and higher concentration of outgoing pulp.
3. High Cleanness of Washed Stock
The stock of low concentration in the form of very thin layer gets dehydrated and concentrated effectively under the effects of higher centrifugal force at breast roll and squeezing force from the net. It gets washed by fresh washing water at the entrance of couch roll and under the effect of very high centrifugal force created by the couch roll, it gets one time highly efficient washing and dehydration again. The washed stock has very high cleanness and can enable various pulps meet the cleanness requirements on stocks without the need of adding subsequent stock washing devices. It greatly simplifies the pulping process and reduces the investment cost of device and power consumption.
4. Uniform Quality of Washed Stock
The effect of equally distributing the stock of lower concentration of feeding pulp and feeding system makes the stock evenly distributed at any direction. Furthermore, under the constant squeeze pressure and centrifugal force during the dehydration process, the stock always has uniform dehydration power and the quality of discharged pulp is uniform and stable.
5. Occupying Small Space and High Production Capacity
Although the stock layer is very thin, the production capacity of unit area is very high for this device because of high rotational speed. Therefore, for the same production capacity, the space which is occupied by this device is much less than others.
6. Lower Power Consumption
The special structure of this device offers very little operation obstruction for the initiative roll. Comparing with a traditional high-speed stock washer, it can at least save more than 30% energy.
7. Long Service Life of Net
The special structure of this device can reduce the folding phenomenon of net during the high-speed running process. Thereby, the service life of net can be increased greatly.
8. Easy Operation and Saving Manpower
This device is highly automated. During normal operation, there is no need for manpower. The polyester net with the guide bars prevents the net from getting offline. The well-made structure of suspension net replacement makes the operation of replacing the net more convenient and rapid, which saves work time and manpower so that the efficiency of this device is improved.
9. Clean Environment and Safe Operation
Fully enclosed structural design collects all the stock thickened and washed in the device before discharging them together. The waste water with high concentration and the waste water with low concentration are separated in the device and discharged from the device respectively to facilitate subsequent waste water treatment. It has no influence on the external environment and keeps the cleanness of work environment. It also isolates the high-speed running parts from the operators completely to eliminate any hidden safety troubles.
